David Geist is an accomplished entrepreneur that has successfully launched multiple start-up companies specializing in retail real estate development since 1997. He is currently the owner of multiple GF Investment entities that find, acquire and develop real estate. The strategy is not only to buy, develop and sell land and buildings, but also to retain certain properties for long-term gain via ownership of single tenant building retail centers, build-to-suits, and ground leases. His primary focus over the last several years has been developing single tenant, build-to-suit projects and investment opportunities utilizing both traditional acquisitions and forward thinking financial structuring.
David and GF Investments bring a reputation of honesty, integrity and knowledge in an ever changing industry. He appreciates commitment to long term relationships and providing its customers the highest level of knowledge and service. GF Investments uses an experienced and proven team of engineers, architects, contractors, lenders and advisors to ensure successful results.
Born and raised in Kansas, David received an Industrial Engineering degree from Kansas State University in 1982. He then joined Conoco, Inc. where he gained invaluable knowledge and experience throughout his 15-year career with them in a variety of positions ranging from construction, transportation, real estate and business development.
MILTON GEIST
Vice President/General Counsel
Milton Geist joined GF Investments in 2016 and has become an integral part of the team. His most recent accomplishment was completing and selling a retail development project in the middle of the Co-vid pandemic. Milton is currently overseeing and kicking off various new projects in Colorado, Kansas and Texas. He continues looking forward to the “next” project and to gain more knowledge and expertise in the real estate industry while helping GF Investments grow in their continued success.
Milton is deeply committed to every single client, tenant, partner and project that GF Investment teams with. He prides himself on understanding their individual needs and strives to build relationships based on mutual respect and shared vision.
Milton graduated from Texas Christian University in 2013 with a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics. He also earned a law degree from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in 2016.
